Here’s week two of our School Holiday Daily Survival Guide.

For those that missed last week’s blog, here’s week one. We really enjoyed reading what you’re up these holidays, so thanks for taking the time to comment. 

Day 9 – Sun 8th July

AM – Create a backyard or indoor mini Olympics.

PM – Compete to see who will win gold!

Day 10 – Mon 9th July

AM – Have an indoor/outdoor scavenger hunt.

PM – Grab some chalk and create some amazing chalk art images.

Day 11 – Tues 10th July

AM – Clean out your drawers, wardrobe and toy box. Then take any items you no longer need to the charity shop.

PM – Then give your bedroom a makeover. Make a new notice board, mobile, photo board or piece of art for your room.

Day 12 – Wed 11th July

AM – Learn some yoyo or juggling tricks to show your mates.

PM – Have an art party with friends.

Day 13 – Thur 12th July

AM – Go bike riding. Rainy day alternative – Check out the local museum or the local school holiday kids programme for what’s on.

PM – Make dinner for the rest of the family (e.g., homemade pizzas, Mexican, burgers).

Day 14 – Fri 13th July

AM – Create a funky new book bag for school, e.g., a Treasure Map or Fashion Book Bag

PM – Prepare house, food, drinks and games for Friday 13th sleepover with friends!

Day 15 – Sat 14th July

AM – Practice a play, music number or other talent for the afternoons talent show.

PM – Invite friends, family or the neighbours to watch and participate in the talent show.

Day 16 – Sun 15th July

AM – Create a photo collage of all the amazing things you’ve created and done over these school holidays. 

PM –Grab the popcorn & duvet and snuggle up on the couch with a classic kids movie.

So that’s it! Before you know it the kids are back at school. Oh well, there’s always the next school holidays to look forward to :)
